What is Annatto Seed Extract?

Main Ingredients
Naturally occurring carotenoid pigments dominate the functional composition of Annatto Color Extract, with bixin as the main and most commercially important active constituent, which is also accompanied by a water-soluble derivative of bixin, norbixin. These pigments are the cause of the typical yellow to orange-red hue and are the value drivers of the core values in industry. Process
1. Raw Seed Preparation
The cleaning and screening, followed by drying of the seeds to eliminate foreign matter, as well as regulating the moisture content, will ensure that processing conditions remain consistent and a consistent color yield is achieved when large quantities of annatto are produced.
2. Mechanical Size Reduction
